I don't think many people know this, but I really, really hate my lineart. I like thin lineart, but I can never pull it off, and I always end up drawing huge thick black lineart. :c
I wanted to draw something softer, and more 'painted' looking, so when I started drawing this I decided to try a semi-lineless look. I've also started trying to steer away from anime style, and while this is still fairly desu, I'm much happier with this style... Colouring took so much longer than usual! And it was really enjoyable too. Of course normally I enjoy colouring anyway, but this was much more relaxing somehow... :3

Anyway, this girl is a character I made a year or so ago (I'm pretty sure I've decided on the name 'Lia' for her), but never really got around to drawing, or thinking much about her design. I made her for a male character of mine, also from a long time ago. I have drawn him a few times before, but never uploaded anything of him.
They're a really cute couple to me, for no particular reason haha.

If you're into Hetalia like me, please excuse how much she looks like Seychelles lol! I didn't mean to, I promise! Only after I started colouring her shirt that same light blue I realized... I changed the colour with some regret haha.

And my handwriting is awful, I know. I envy people with the ability to write so beautifully... c;
